Sisters Folk Festival is opening weekend pass sales for the 2019 festival on Monday, December 3. The festival is always on the weekend following Labor Day. Next year’s Festival dates are September 6 – 8, 2019.
The organization is again offering a limited number of “Early Bird,” discounted passes, distributed via lottery. “Last year we switched to a lottery system to allocate the 500 passes for sale at a discount and got great feedback. Folks felt they had a fair shot at getting them, no one had to sit at their computer waiting for the clock to tick down and then relentlessly pushing a button only to be disappointed,” says Managing Director Ann Richardson. “So we’re sticking with that approach again this year and giving people a couple of weeks to enter the lottery before the random drawing.”
Patrons have until 8 a.m. on Monday, December 3 to enter the lottery. Winners will be notified by email by 5 p.m. that day and have until the end of December to finalize their pass purchase.
Early Bird passes are priced at $145 each, and full-price passes are $170.
Full-price passes will be available on Dec. 3 and can be purchased at www.sistersfolkfestival.org/tickets.
The 23rd annual festival will feature over 40 acts, 11 stages and 3 days of world-class music. “All the Town’s a Stage” is not just a tagline, it’s a reality for three magical days.
The festival is organized by the non-profit Sisters Folk Festival, Inc. (SFF). SFF not only produces an outstanding festival, but the organization has also pioneered excellence in music and arts education through the acclaimed Americana Project, Americana Song Academy and Song Academy for Youth.
