Pottery - 6" x 8" x 6"
This lidded pot was originally intended as a tea pot, but art overtook my intention. The carvings were made simply because the piece was heavy in weight, but they also became part of the art.
Artist Statement:
Because this was an unplanned piece, the glazing was experimental but combined three of my favorite glazes, and again, art took over.
