Wearable Fiber Art - 20" x 13"

This is my adaptation of modification of several MOBIUS patterns by Cat Bordhi. The center band is a blend of alpaca, silk, and mohair haze. Next comes sari silk. And finally a soft yarn in warm hues of brown. The holes in the lace pattern represent those we've lost especially artists, musicians, friends, and family. The stockinette stitch stands for all united toward whatever the future holds. The MOTH may have "eaten" holes in the lace but is here to remind you of this event, year round.

Artist Statement:

I am a writer, editor, gallery owner, and I love to do fiber art as a form of relaxation. I try to modify patterns-designs with a variety of colors and textures.
