This year, Julia and I promised each other to explore our state by taking short trips to places we have not visited or wanted to explore beyond what we have experienced from the past. "Ramshackle" represents the old barn at Summer Lake hot springs and our weekend exploring beyond Central Oregon.
Artist Statement:
Although I began painting landscape and wildlife subject matter professionally in 1991, I have spent the past several years exploring new inspirations, mediums and techniques. "Ramshackle" is a palette oil painting and part of a new challenge for myself as an artist.
