Salish Flow

Estimated Value: $195

by Ann Grossnickle

Clay - 17" wide x 5" tall

This piece is Ann's interpretation of the Salish Sea that blesses the shores of British Columbia and Washington State. The colors express the New Dawn, a hope that the sea can continue to support Orca and the other sea life so sacred to us all.

Artist Statement:

Ann’s work reflects the natural world. She works with sand, makes clay impressions of old growth trees, uses organics from the sea for pit fire pots, and paints renditions of wild horse of mugs and bowls.
