This is an artist proof block print using water-soluble ink from the Sisters High School art class.

 

Artist Statement:

I love warm happy summer times. My prints capture the bright and sweet feeling of summer. During the warm months of the year, I love to eat strawberries. I grow them in my greenhouse and they're red and juicy. I also love pineberries because they look so interesting. Most of the time, I call them "white berries" and they're much more sour and acidic than regular strawberries.
