Camping at SFF 2023

Sisters Folk Festival satellite camping reservations will open on Wednesday, January 18 at 10 AM for both Shepherd of the Hills and SPRD – spots will fill quickly.

Reservations can only be made ONLINE. Do not call our offices, SPRD or Shepherd of the Hills. 

Please note: Overnight camping is not allowed on city property, including parks and the “right-of-way” – defined as the space between the street and property line, often seen around Sisters as the gravel shoulders where a sidewalk may be built. Specific signed RV parking spots exist around town, but overnight camping inside the parked vehicle is prohibited.

 

SPRD Tent & RV Camping Sites

This camping is open to All Events Pass holders (or volunteers) for the 2023 Sisters Folk Festival. It is located at 1750 McKinney Butte Road, 1.7 miles from the festival venues in downtown Sisters. Shuttles will not be offered; we recommend bringing your bicycle for a quick and easy ride into town.

  • There are four site options:
    • Tent Camping with space on a grassy field plus ONE standard size paved parking spot – $75 for 3 nights
    • 9′ x 38′ Pull Through RV Camp Space – $100 for 3 nights
    • 18′ x 19′ RV Camper Van Space – $100 for 3 nights
    • 18′ x 38′ Large RV Camping Space – $150 for 3 nights
  • You must stay entirely within your allotted space, including any towing vehicle, slide outs, canopies, etc.
  • You must have an All Events Pass to the 2023 Sisters Folk Festival OR be a festival volunteer to camp in this area. 
  • Campers must arrive on Friday, September 29 between 2 PM and 9 PM (no early birds) and leave no later than 9:00 AM on Monday, October 2. 
  • NEW! Showers will be available on Sat, Sept. 30 and Sun, Oct 1 from 8 AM to 11 AM. 
  • This is dry camping with no hookups.
  • Quiet hours between 10 PM and 7 AM daily (no generator use during quiet hours).
  • Porta-potties will be provided but we strongly encourage you to use your own self-contained facilities.
  • No open flames on the property, including charcoal grills.
  • Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after. Please do not leave your dog unattended and barking for long periods of time.
  • This is a fundraiser for the Sisters Alpine Ski Club. Please be kind to the parent and kid volunteers who are staffing the area!
  • Your cooperation around these guidelines will help to ensure we can return to this spot in future years.

Shepherd of the Hills Tent & RV Camping Sites 

This camping is open to All Events Pass holders (or volunteers) for the 2023 Sisters Folk Festival. It is located within a few blocks of all festival venues for easy walking or biking.

  • Cost: $100 for 3 nights

  • You must have an All Events Pass to the 2023 Sisters Folk Festival OR be a festival volunteer to camp in this area. 
  • Campers must arrive on Friday, September 29 between 9 AM (no early birds) and 9 PM and leave on or before Monday, October 2 by 9 AM.
  • All campers will enter the area on Larch Street.
  • This is dry camping with no hookups.
  • RVs/camp trailers/camper vans no longer than 36′.
  • If towing a vehicle that causes the rig to exceed 36′, the towed vehicle MAY have to detach and park on the street.
  • This site is located adjacent to a residential area. Please be considerate and act in a way you would wish visitors to your neighborhood to act.
  • Quiet hours between 10 PM and 7 AM daily (no generator use during quiet hours).
