River trips are already amazing, multi-sensory experiences; exciting rapids, stunning campsites, tasty meals, and fresh air; how could we possibly make them better, you ask? Add the magic, spontaneity, and pure joy of nightly, live, riverside music from professional musicians!
ARTA and Sisters Folk Festival have teamed up to bring you the “Going Rogue” summer music series. Sisters Folk Festival (Sisters, Oregon) has been producing world-class music festivals and events since 1995. ARTA (The American River Touring Association) is non-profit corporation, founded in 1963 that donates its profits to conservation organizations, helping to protect our nation’s wild rivers for future generations to enjoy.
The partnership with ARTA and SFF is a natural fit, and we’re thrilled to bring some of the best folk and Americana musicians along for the ride. It’s a one-of-a-kind, magical, musical, mind-blowing experience on the already incredible Wild and Scenic Rogue River.
These are river trips like no others — It’s a confluence made in heaven!

GET TO KNOW RAINBOW GIRLS
Get ready to have a gang of sweet angels, punch you in the heart. Rainbow Girls are an eclectic folk trio hailing from the golden countryside just north of California’s Bay Area. Vanessa May, Erin Chapin, and Caitlin Gowdey seamlessly combine soul-touching harmonies, vari-textured instrumentals, and poignant, lyrical content into a beautiful sonic tapestry. Throughout their performance, voices are paired with an ever-changing amalgamation of acoustic and slide guitar, keys, upright bass, harmonica, and an array of vocal techniques creating an engaging and often emotionally moving live show.
